Guiding Your Teen Through Adolescence

Information Processing

When a high degree of irrelevant information is included in the information being received, extroverts generally process the information more efficiently than introverts. For example, your extroverted child will probably be able to play a fast paced game of cards better than your introverted child, especially when numerous conversations are being carried on simultaneously. This difference in character does not indicate differences in intelligence, but difference in temperament.
