Guiding Your Teen Through Adolescence

Teen Anxiety Disorders

One can save oneself from an external danger by flight; fleeing
from an internal danger is a difficult enterprise.

Gay (Ed.)., p. 776

Teen Anxiety Disorders take many forms, from a generalized constant worry (Teen General Anxiety Disorder) that is not objectively warranted, to anxiety in social situations (Teen Social Phobia - Teen Social Anxiety Disorder), to phobias related to certain things found in nature.
